My name is John Robert Bullock, a twenty-something welder/fabricator living in a quaint little village in the North of England and the West of Yorkshire. I currently live with my girlfriend of over two years, Sallie Parker.
I currently work for a roll cage manufacturing firm, mainly as a welder/fabricator, but also from time to time I am called upon to handle computer issues, web design and CAD work. Previous incarnations of my working self have included Full Time Bartender, Stand Supervisor for the food and drink kiosks at Bradford City Football Club, Standard Nobody on the production line of a now defunct iron casting firm, as well as a few brief stints in data entry, sales and catering.
My qualifications are mostly in the field of computing, though I never stayed in education long enough to gain any really impressive ones… but I did meet Sallie in college, so it wasn’t all bad.
My interests are guitar, Xbox, Football (the real kind, not the American kind), anything that holds a novelty value with me long enough to try it, programming and web design. My wants and aims for the future are as clear today as they were when I was but a boy of ten. That is to say, not very clear. All I know is I want to do something more than hold down a job until I’m seventy so I can retire and eventually die.
If in ten years time I still work in a job I don’t like to barely make enough money to support my family with thirty years more of the same to look forward to, but people read this blog, link to this blog, that this blog is known and its contents of interest to others, I will be happy.
